Flexible Wood Acoustic Panels

Sound Absorption / Acoustic Treatment
Used for Echo reduction · reverberation control · room acoustics
Installation area Wall / ceiling (curved surfaces)
Main metric NRC / αw
Important: This product reduces echo INSIDE the room. It does not block sound between rooms unless combined with a full soundproofing system.

Acoustic wood panels with precision-engineered kerf cuts that let the panel bend around columns, curved walls, and sculptural ceilings — while keeping natural wood aesthetics and acoustic absorption.

— WOOD THAT BENDS —

Kerfed slits · acoustic + flexible

Studied micro-incisions on the back of the panel convert a rigid wood sheet into a flexible, formable surface — without losing the natural veneer face. Combine with stone-wool backing for full acoustic performance.

01 · Engineered Kerf System

CNC-cut kerf slits across the back face let the panel bend to a tight radius (min radius depends on kerf density). Front veneer stays continuous and unbroken.

02 · Natural Wood Aesthetic

Real wood veneer face (oak, walnut, ash, maple, custom) on a flexible substrate. Combine with grooves or perforations for added acoustic absorption.

— FAQ —

Flexible wood · common questions

How tight can the panel bend?

Standard kerf density bends to a ~300 mm radius. Denser kerfs allow tighter curves down to ~150 mm. Tell us your radius and we'll spec the kerf pattern.

Does the front face show the kerf cuts?

No. Kerf cuts are made on the BACK face only. The front shows continuous wood veneer.

What acoustic performance can I expect?

Plain (un-perforated) panels: NRC 0.20–0.45 direct fix. Add grooves, perforations, or stone-wool backing to reach NRC 0.85+.
