Important: This product reduces vibration and structure-borne noise from mechanical systems and impacts. It does not absorb echo or block airborne sound on its own.

What Are Neoprene Pads?

Engineered rubber pads (typically 8–25 mm thick) with a ribbed or waffle face. The pattern creates micro air pockets that compress under load, absorbing vibration before it reaches the slab. Used under any rotating or oscillating equipment — from a small split-AC outdoor unit to a 5-ton chiller. Easy to cut to size with a sharp knife.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How thick a pad do I need?
Rule of thumb: 10 mm under loads <100 kg per foot, 15 mm under 100–300 kg, 20–25 mm under heavier. For critical low-frequency isolation we use spring isolators instead.
Can I just cut a generic rubber sheet?
You can, but you lose the pattern. The ribbed-waffle dual face is what spreads load and prevents micro-slip — that's the whole point. Generic flat rubber is 20–30% less effective and squeezes out from under heavy loads.
Do they need glue?
No. Friction holds them in place under load. For wind-exposed outdoor units we sometimes recommend a single dab of polyurethane sealant at one corner — never full glue (kills the isolation).
Are they oil resistant?
Yes — neoprene resists oils, fuels and most industrial chemicals far better than EPDM or natural rubber. Safe under gensets and hydraulic pumps.
Custom sizes available?
