No — the moss is preserved (real moss harvested then stabilised with food-grade glycerin). It looks and feels living but requires zero water, light, or care.
Will it work in Saudi humidity?
Yes for indoor environments at 40–60% relative humidity. Avoid bathrooms and outdoor exposure. Air-conditioned interiors are the typical Saudi use case.
How does it absorb sound?
The 3D fibre surface absorbs mid and high frequencies (speech range). NRC ≈ 0.50–0.70 direct-fix on wall. Pair with stone-wool backing for higher absorption.
