Button-FixType 1Flush
Yamamah Smart supplies and installs Button-Fix Type 1 Flush across Saudi Arabia — the slide-and-click connector that mounts acoustic panels, slatted walls and architectural cladding fully recessed with no visible fixings. UK-made nylon, 100 kg load per 4 fixes, fits any 18 mm+ panel.
What Is Button-Fix Type 1 Flush?
A British-engineered two-part connector system — a Fix (the recessed metal/nylon plate) and a Button (the lime-green nylon stud). The Fix sits flush inside the panel; the Button screws into the wall or frame. The panel slides on, clicks into place, and lifts off cleanly for service — no visible screws, no rigid bridge between panel and wall, no waiting for adhesive to cure.
Rebate the Panel
Drill or CNC a simple oval rebate (22 × 56 × 8 mm) in the panel back; press in the Fix flush.
Mount the Buttons
Screw the lime-green Buttons to the wall on a level line — 4 per panel typical, max 600 mm apart.
Slide & Click
Panel slides onto the buttons and clicks in place. Lift off in seconds for service — no tools.

Eight variants cover every application — pick the type that matches your panel thickness, load and access requirements. Type 1 Flush is our most-used variant for acoustic panels.
Type 1
Connects panels face-to-face with 3 mm or 8 mm gap. Drop-down or sideways engagement. Ideal for acoustic, wall and ceiling panels.
Type 1 FlushOUR PICK
Connects panels face-to-face with no gap. Fully recessed for a clean architectural finish. Yamamah Smart's most-used variant for acoustic panels.
Type 1 Bonded
Adhesive bonding to thin materials — glass, stone, metal, solid surface. No screws required. Ideal for signage and exhibitions.
Type 1 Metal
ZL2 zinc-alloy fix with 316 stainless spring. Highest load capacity. For fire-retardant panels, marine, transport interiors and vibration-prone environments.
Type 2
90° connection to frame, push & click engagement. For removable service-access panels (bath panels, IPS ducts). Wall-only — not for ceilings.
Type 2 Compact
Compact depth — mounts on a 18 mm panel edge. Push & click or drop-down. For washroom IPS panels and shallow service ducts.
Type 3
Push-on / pull-off engagement (no slide). For panels with no clearance around them (end-of-run or tight corners).
Type 3 Flush
Recessed push-on / pull-off — oval form for fully-recessed installations. Panel-to-panel contact or surface-mounting on narrow structures.
Four Ways to Install Type 1 Flush
Choose the method that suits your panel thickness and removability needs. All diagrams from the official Button-Fix Ltd datasheet.
Edge-Rebated
Fix rebated into the edge of a 28 mm+ panel. 22 × 56 × 8 mm oval rebate. 15 mm fall to engage.
Face-Rebated
Fix rebated into the face of an 18 mm+ panel. Same oval rebate. Horizontal or vertical orientation.
Inverted Fix
Same Fix installed inverted — for panels that need to be removable from the bottom up.
Surface-Mounted
No rebate. 8 mm gap between panels. Fastest install when surface clearance is acceptable.
Why Use Type 1 Flush?
When panel-to-panel contact is required — for furniture, reception counters, kitchen cabinets or acoustic cladding — Type 1 Flush is the connector to choose.
It sits in a simple oval rebate (22 × 56 × 8 mm) and recesses fully into the face of an 18 mm+ panel or the edge of a 28 mm+ panel. Narrow profile makes it equally suited to slatted walls and surface-mounting onto firring strips above ceiling panels.
Yamamah Smart stocks both the standard lime-green and orange Buttons in Riyadh, and installs across the Kingdom.

Acoustically correct
Nylon Button + Fix decouples the panel from the wall — no rigid bridge that transmits vibration.
