Important: This product reduces vibration and structure-borne noise from mechanical systems and impacts. It does not absorb echo or block airborne sound on its own.

What's in a Suspension Kit?

A complete kit for one suspension point: anchor plate, eye-bolt, steel cable, spring vibration isolator, gripper-lock adjuster, and the lower attachment hardware. Pick a kit rated for your load (30, 60 or 100 kg per point) and use one kit per attachment. Used to hang acoustic baffles, ceiling clouds, ducting, lighting fixtures, signage and projectors.

Why Use a Spring-Isolated Kit

Real isolation

A rigid hanger transmits every vibration straight to your ceiling slab. A spring isolator absorbs it. The difference is audible.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Why not just use a rigid threaded rod?

Threaded rods are cheaper, but they're a direct mechanical connection — every vibration in the structure transmits straight to whatever you hung. For acoustic projects, that defeats the purpose. The spring isolator is what makes the hanging element actually quiet.

How many points per panel?

Standard rule: 1 m² needs 2 points minimum, 2 m² needs 3 points, then add 1 point per additional m². Cross-check against the static load of the kit.

Can I install one myself or do I need a contractor?

Most cable hangers are designed to be installed by one person with a drill and a ladder. For heavy loads or high ceilings (>4 m) we recommend our installer service.

Will the springs last?

Yes — they're coil springs rated for >1,000,000 fatigue cycles at design load. The cable is the lifetime-limiting element in normal use (~15 years indoors).

Fire-rated?

Steel parts are A1 (non-combustible). The kit can be used in any fire-rated ceiling assembly. For specific fire-resistance ratings of the assembled system, request the project drawing pack.
