Common questions about Silent Space®
What is the STC rating of Silent Space® booths?
STC 30 (±5 dB). In addition, Speech Level Reduction (DS,A) exceeds 29 dB measured per the newest standard ISO 23351-1:2020 — putting Silent Space® booths in Class B for speech privacy.
How long does installation take?
Typically within 1 hour for 2 people using the modular components. No trimming, no bolting, no gluing, and no wet work. All packaging is recyclable so there's no construction waste.
Can the booth be moved after installation?
Yes. Optional hidden caster wheels allow effortless relocation without dismantling. For permanent moves, booths can also be fully disassembled and reassembled at a new location.
What ventilation does the booth have?
Centrifugal fans for both intake and outtake to keep balanced air pressure (so users don't experience "airplane ear"). Acoustic plenum duct attenuates sound exchange. Auto-refresh runs 5 minutes every 30 minutes to keep air fresh.
What customization options are available?
8 exterior powder-coating colors, 4 PET acoustic felt interiors, 16+ fabric colors (customer-provided fabric also accepted), multiple furniture options per model, and add-ons including 15W wireless charger, glass whiteboard, Bluetooth audio, PDLC privacy glass, and more.
Are the booths certified?
Yes — GreenGuard (low emissions), CE (EU conformity), TÜV SUD, ISO 9001 via SGS, and UL Listed. Over 90% of materials are recyclable.
Can I extend a booth or join two together?
Yes. For temporary events, two booths can be joined into one larger room using connect parts. For permanent extension, you can order new body parts to change size permanently.
