Important: This product reduces vibration and structure-borne noise from mechanical systems and impacts. It does not absorb echo or block airborne sound on its own.

Resilient clips with a rubber decoupler insert mount to the stud or joist and hold a hat-channel that carries the drywall — the drywall never touches the structure. Result: +12 to +18 dB STC with no extra wall thickness.

What Are Resilient Isolation Clips?

A small metal cradle screwed to your stud or ceiling joist, with a rubber pad that the drywall channel rests on. The rubber breaks the rigid connection that normally carries impact and low-frequency airborne noise. Used in recording studios, apartments, home theatres, hospitals and offices wherever a wall or ceiling needs to actually block sound.

How many clips do I need per square meter?

Typical layout uses one clip every 600 mm horizontally on a 600 mm stud spacing — that's about 4 clips per m². Add 25% for ceilings or heavy double-drywall systems.

Can I use them on a ceiling?

Yes. For ceilings always check the static load — a double-drywall ceiling system loads each clip with 12–18 kg, well within the 30 kg rating.

Do they work with green glue or damped drywall?

Yes — clips and viscoelastic damping compounds are complementary. Clips handle decoupling, damping compounds handle resonance. Used together they can push STC into the mid-60s.

Are they fire rated?

The steel body is non-combustible (A1). The rubber insert is self-extinguishing. Used in any standard partition that meets local fire code.
