Round Perforation
Classic uniform circular holes — the most common pattern with broad supplier availability.
Durable perforated metal ceiling baffles with acoustic fleece or absorptive infill for high-traffic, industrial, public, and architectural ceiling applications.
Fire classification, acoustic performance, and corrosion resistance are subject to the selected material, coating, infill, and supplier test reports.
— TECHNICAL DEFINITION —
Perforated metal acoustic baffles are vertically suspended ceiling baffles made from perforated aluminum, galvanized steel, or stainless steel, with acoustic fleece or absorptive infill behind the perforated face. They are designed for echo reduction and reverberation control.
Important — the metal face itself is not the primary absorber. Sound absorption is achieved through the perforations, acoustic fleece or infill, internal cavity, and exposed baffle surfaces.

— SYSTEM COMPONENTS —
Perforated metal baffles should be treated as a complete ceiling system, including the baffle body, carrying channel, suspension accessories, end caps, brackets, and acoustic backing or infill where required.
Aluminum, galvanized steel, or stainless steel baffle body with the selected perforation pattern.
Closes the open ends of the baffle for a clean, finished edge.
Top rail that carries the baffles and ties the system to the ceiling structure.
Joins two carrying channels for continuous spans across longer runs.
Suspension element that drops the carrying channel from the slab.
Finishing strip that hides edges and tidies the perimeter of the baffle field.
Wall or slab bracket that anchors the carrying channel at room boundaries.
Black fleece or absorptive core behind perforations to drive sound absorption.
— PERFORATION —
The perforation pattern controls both the visual rhythm of the ceiling and the available open area for sound absorption.
Classic uniform circular holes — the most common pattern with broad supplier availability.
Elongated slot openings — strong linear visual rhythm and adjustable directional character.
Very small dense perforations — near-solid appearance from a distance with high open-area absorption potential.
Bespoke patterns, logos, or graphic perforations for branded architectural ceilings.
— INFILL OPTIONS —
The backing and infill behind the perforated face drive how much sound is absorbed by the baffle system.
For projects where the visual metal baffle form, durability, and ceiling rhythm are the main requirements.
A practical option for improved absorption, dark backing appearance, and cleaner visual finish behind perforations.
Recommended for stronger acoustic performance where reverberation control is a key requirement.
— WHEN TO CHOOSE —
Perforated metal baffles are recommended when durability, cleanability, fire performance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and industrial architectural appearance are important. For softer interiors, PET or fabric baffles may be preferred.
— COMPARISON —
Pick the right baffle family for your project — each material is suited to a different mix of durability, acoustics, and visual character.
